Abstract:
Efficient transmission in low duty cycle wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is a focus of research. OpportunisticJP routing, as an efficient transmission algorithm in wireless sensor networks, still has shortcomings. Opportunistic routing algorithms cannot handle weakly connected nodes with only a single neighbor. Even for the node with multiple neighbors, opportunistic routing will try to transmit on low-quality links due to the randomness of the neighbor's waking sequence. In order to solve this problem, an efficient opportunistic routing algorithm with rateless code (EORRC) is proposed. Using rateless code, EORRC can increase the transmission success rate on low-quality link and handle weakly connected scenarios, thereby reducing delay and energy consumption. Simulation experiments shows that EORRC has lower delay and energy consumption.
