Abstract:
This paper proposes a single-station passive location algorithm based on the information fusion of received signal strength (RSS) and angle of arrival (AOA) in low-altitude scenarios. The algorithm used a single UAV equipment virtual multi-station equipment to receive radio radiation source signals, and fused the distance information estimated by RSS and AOA direction angle information. According to the least square criterion (LS), we constructed the optimized objective function of the algorithm, and the convex relaxation technology was used to equivalent the objective function to a second-order cone programming (SOCP) problem and solved it by the interior point method. Experimental results show that the positioning accuracy of this algorithm can reach 20 m within a range of 2 km, and its positioning performance is better than that of a single-station passive positioning algorithm. Moreover, due to the use of a single UAV to collect signals, its equipment complexity is lower than that of multi-station passive positioning.
