面向机器学习的自动化特征工程研究综述

A SURVEY ON AUTOMATED FEATURE ENGINEERING FOR MACHINE LEARNING

  • 摘要: 自动化特征工程是一种无须人为干预且高效的特征工程解决方案,是当前机器学习研究领域的热点问题之一。为了更好地帮助用户使用自动化特征工程方法构建高质量特征,在特征生成、特征选择、系统实现三个方面对当前自动化特征工程方法的技术特点以及存在的不足进行总结分析与归纳,并在已有分析的基础上,指出自动化特征工程的未来研究方向以及面临的问题和挑战。

     

    Abstract: Automated feature engineering is an efficient feature engineering solution that does not require human intervention, and is a popular research topic in machine learning research. In order to help the users employ automated feature engineering algorithms to create high-quality feature sets, this paper discussed the technics of current automated feature engineering frameworks from feature generation, feature selection, and system implementation, summarized, analyzed, and summarized the shortcomings of the existing methods. On the basis of existing analysis, we pointed out the future directions and challenges of automated feature engineering.
