基于α互信息的无参考多聚焦图像融合评价度量

AN NON-REFERENCE METRIC FOR MULTI-FOCUS IMAGE FUSION BASED ON ALPHA MUTUAL INFORMATION

  • 摘要: 为解决传统评价方法容易受主观因素影响及需要参考值的问题,结合图像的统计信息,提出一种基于α互信息的无参考多聚焦图像融合评价度量。研究条件Rényi熵的性质,采用Arimoto的方案构造α互信息,计算融合后的图像和输入图像的α互信息,构建一种无参考的多聚焦图像融合评价度量,利用该评价度量衡量不同融合算法的结果。实验结果表明,与其他常用的图像融合评价度量比较,该度量能够客观地评价多聚焦图像融合的性能。

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the traditional evaluation methods are easily affected by subjective factors and need reference image, a non-reference fusion metric for multi-focus images based on alpha mutual information is presented combining statistical information of images. The properties of conditional Rényi entropy were studied, and alpha mutual information was constructed by using Arimoto scheme. The alpha mutual information of input images and the fused image was calculated, and a non-reference fusion metric for multi-focus images was constructed. The metric was employed to assess the results of different image fusion algorithms. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed metric can objectively evaluate the performance of multi-focus image fusion compared with other frequently-used fusion metrics.
