DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MULTIFUNCTIONAL DRIVE-FREE HIGH FREQUENCY RFID READER

  • A multifunctional driver-free high frequency RFID reader is proposed. Based on the use of Cortex-M0 kernel MCU, the combination of hardware and software compatible advantages among WS1850S chip and MFRC520/522/523 series chip, and secondary development for USB HID standard protocol, the reader was successfully designed and verified from hardware structure and function to software design and antenna matching circuit. The results show that the reader has different functions such as reading physical information of ISO14443A, ISO14443B and CPU standard RF card and optional data output in decimal or hexadecimal and driver-free service, therefore the rationality and the feasibility are validated.
