基于霍夫变换和粒子滤波的SAR图像道路提取研究

ROAD EXTRACTION OF SAR IMAGE BASED ON HOUGH TRANSFORM AND PARTICLE FILTER

  • 摘要: 针对粒子滤波算法在SAR图像道路提取中难以自动初始化种子点的问题,提出一种基于霍夫变换和粒子滤波的SAR图像道路提取方法。该方法首先通过ROA算子检测边缘,接着分别利用霍夫变换和形态学操作提取出图像中长直道路线段以及道路交叉点,最后将长直道路线段的端点和道路交叉点作为种子点,根据改进的粒子滤波模型完成后续的全局道路追踪与连接。实验结果表明,该方法能够对直线、曲线、交叉口等多种道路形状进行有效提取,并且不需要人为设置初始化粒子滤波种子点。

     

    Abstract: Aimed at the problem that the particle filter algorithm is difficult to automatically initialize seed points in SAR image road extraction, a road extraction method of SAR image based on Hough transform and particle filter is proposed. The method took advantage of ROA operator to detect the edges, extracted the straight road line segments and road intersections in the image using Hough transform and morphological operation respectively, and regarded the endpoints of straight road line segments and road intersections as seed points to complete the subsequent global road tracking and connection according to the improved particle filtering model. The experimental results show that the method can effectively extract a variety of road shapes such as straight lines, curves and intersections without setting initialized particle filter seed points manually.
