基于有效线纹特征自动提取的弹头识别方法

THE METHOD OF BULLET IDENTIFICATION BASED ON VALID LINE EXTRACTION

  • 摘要: 以3D阳膛线痕迹区域的微观特征为研究对象,采用基于有限脊波变换算法的线条纹特征提取方法和基于灰度共生矩阵的纹理分析方法研究自动阳膛线痕迹识别。改进2D平均轮廓方法,沿条纹倾斜方向将每条有效条纹进行加权平均得到2D加权平均轮廓,以抑制阳膛线痕迹中无效区域的干扰。为了验证提出的自 动阳膛线痕迹匹配方法的有效性,使用一个控制集和一个验证集进行实验验证。两个对比实验结果表明该方法最优,是唯一一个能够将已知匹配弹头和已知不匹配弹头完全区分开的方法。

     

    Abstract: Taking the microscopic features of the 3D lands the raised areas between the grooves in a firearm barrel trace area as the research object, this paper studies automatic lands trace identification by using a line feature extraction method based on the finite ridgelet transform FRIT and a texture analysis method based on the gray level co- occurrence matrix GLCM. The 2D average profile WAP was improved. Along the inclined direction of the stripes, each valid stripe was subjected to weighted averaging to obtain a 2D WAP, so as to suppress the interference of invalid areas in the land traces. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed automatic lands trace matching method, experimental verification was carried out using a control set and a verification set. Compared with two comparative experiments, the results show that this method is the best and is the only one that can completely distinguish between known matching bullets and known non-matching bullets.
