Abstract:
In order to optimize the beamwidth performance of frequency diverse array with symmetrical tangent frequency offset beam pattern and achieve the overall optimal beamwidth and sidelobe level, a frequency diverse array with symmetrical tangent frequency offset beam pattern optimization method is proposed. In this method, range-dimension beamwidth and peak sidelobe level were treated as optimization targets, the distance-based Pareto genetic algorithm (DPGA) was used to optimize the symmetric tangent frequency offset to obtain the optimal solution-set of frequency offset. The simulation results show that compared with the existing frequency diverse array, it has advantages in beamwidth and peak sidelobe level performance.
