面向高性能计算的生物信息学分析流程系统设计与实现

  • 摘要: 为支撑用户在高性能计算系统上开展生物信息学分析,需要提升计算服务的易用性。现有的生物信息学分析系统,缺乏对高性能计算系统的原生支持。针对上述问题,利用容器化、通用流程语言、作业调度器等技术设计并实现一套生物信息学分析流程系统,集成参考数据集、软件镜像库、公共分析流程资源,基于Web提供数据、流程、作业一站式在线计算服务。系统可满足用户在高性能计算系统上快速开展高通量生物信息学分析的需求。

     

    Abstract: To support kinds of bioinformatics analyses on high performance computing systems, the ease of use of computing services needs to be improved. Existing bioinformatics platforms lack support for high performance computing systems. To address the issue, a bioinformatics analysis process system is designed and implemented using container technology, common workflow language, job scheduler and etc, which integrates reference datasets, software image libraries and workflows, and provides one- stop online computing services for data, workflows and jobs based on Web. The system can meet the needs of users to rapidly carry out high- throughput bioinformatics analysis on high performance computing systems.
