DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A DISTRIBUTED CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

  • Based on the requirements of modern conference management, a distributed conference management system with C/S and B/S mixed mode was designed and implemented, which included a conference management service center and several conference sites. The conference management service center included a data server, an application server, a Web server, a communication gateway and an export router. The conference site included a number of portable computers, RFID card readers, two-dimensional code readers, information display and publishing equipment, on-site WLAN equipment and user terminals. We optimized the B/S interface with RIA (Rich Internet Application) technology, monitored and managed every detail of the conference process with RFID technology. With the advantages of the SAAS (Software as a Service) model, conference management could be configured on demand and deployed quickly. The system improved the efficiency of conference management significantly.
