OPTIMAL SELECTION OF SOFTWARE RELIABILITY MODEL BASED ON WEIGHTED STANDARDIZATION

  • So far, no software reliability model can be applied to all software testing environments. Therefore, it is an important problem to study the optimal method of the software reliability model in order to select the software reliability model suitable for software testing environment at that time. This paper proposes a simple weighted standardization method to optimize the selection of software reliability models. Thirteen software reliability models, ten evaluation performance criteria of software reliability models and two real-world fault datasets were selected for the corresponding experiments. Experimental results show that the proposed model selection optimization method based on the weighted standardization can effectively select the optimal software reliability model.
