LINE DRAWING OF WUTAI MOUTAIN MURAL FIGURES GENERATING ALGORITHM

The image of Wutai Mountain murals is faded, resulting in uneven hue and grayscale missing of some edges. The line drawing generated by traditional gradient method has many noise points and discontinuous lines. A line drawing of mural figures generating algorithm based on tone compensation and double convolution technology is proposed. The hue gradient was introduced to calculate the gradient amplitude for effective hue compensation. Two kinds of convolution templates for discrete noise were used to achieve the function of denoising. Experimental results on Wutai Mountain murals figures line drawing illustrate that the proposed algorithm can improve the discontinuity of the contour line on the basis of removing noise effectively.
